Check it out: ADA-compliant closed captions & MPEG-4 export:
Closed Caption support
- Add, edit and publish ADA compliant soft subtitles as caption tracks to your MPEG-4 movies and YouTube videos
- Create captions in multiple languages
- Export captions as an SRT file
- Export faster, higher quality MPEG-4 files using the x264 codec
You’re knocking it out of the park for me with this release! This is another feature I’ve struggled with. I have clients I train who don’t necessarily have sound on their computers, and since I don’t have direct access to my company’s YouTube account, working with those captions has been a pain. Now I’ll be able to add my own captions and show them regardless of when I embed the files. You guys rock!
Great to hear! Thanks Ian
Really looking forward to the new release. How soon do we get it??
Patience, grasshopper… it won’t be long now.
Does Screenflow also allow importation of already created .srt or .sub files onto a subtitle track?
HI Michael, no, not at this time. But that’s a feature that has been requested by others, so we will consider this for a future release
